Description:

CDC?s Procurement and Grants Office has published a request for application announcement entitled, ?Development of Influenza Surveillance Networks.?
$100,000,000 [this amount is an estimate, and subject to the availability of funds] will be available in fiscal year 2005 to fund approximately five to ten awards. The purpose of the program is to provide support and assistance to foreign governments for the development or improvement of influenza surveillance networks. These networks will focus on the systematic collection of virological and epidemiological information for influenza. The anticipated funding date is August 1, 2005.
